How can I be saved?
Why do I need to be saved?
Until you realize that you are lost, you can't be saved. You are born with sin (Psalm 51:5) and have willingly chosen to sin (1 John 1:8). Your sin is what separates you (Romans 6:23) from a holy and loving God who created you and the entire universe (Colossians 1:16). He sees your every thought, word, and deed and is the judge of all mankind (Ecclesiastes 12:14).
What will I be saved from?
God is eternal and infinite (Deuteronomy 33:27), so the penalty for sin is also eternal and infinite. God can save you from the bondage of sin (Romans 6:22), the penalty for sin (Hell) (Matthew 25:46), and His wrath (Romans 5:9).
How can God save me?
God sent His only son Jesus to earth to save sinners (John 3:16-17). Jesus Christ willingly sacrificed Himself on the cross to pay the penalty that sinful people deserved (Romans 5:8). He rose from the dead 3 days later proving He was God (Mark 16:6).
How do I get saved?
Do you genuinely want to be saved regardless of the cost or consequences (Luke 9:23)? If God has shown you your need, and you want to be saved, then you must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus (Acts 20:21). Confess that you are a guilty and helpless sinner and ask Him with all your heart to save you.
